Healthy living starts with good nutrition. Nutrition is very important to one's mental and physical well-being. Eating a well-balanced diet from all food groups will further promote your independence. The Wedgewood goes the extra mile to ensure that we use only the freshest ingredients and have fresh fruits available at all times.
Staying Active
Keeping fit and staying fit will become easier at The Wedgewood because of amenities like our endless pool, fitness studio and a well-designed physiotherapy program. All of our exercise programs are carefully designed by our Activity Director under the direction of our medical professionals. Our location also offers walking paths along the St. Lawrence and the local parks.
Medical Professionals
The Wedgewood is fully supported by a compliment of medical personnel. We have nurses available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A doctor is on call and will make scheduled visits. A physiotherapist is on hand to assist and help maintain your body's health. A pharmacist is available to provide you with advice on your medication. Proper monitoring of one's health is further promoted at The Wedgewood by regular blood pressure and weight management clinics.
